The official beerdie rules of Beernerd tournaments
Clean points are valued at 1 point.
Field goals are valued at 1 point.
Dinks are valued at 2 points. If caught, nothing.
Sinks are valued at 3 points. If the die happens to bounce out, it does not matter โ 3 points are awarded.
Fifas are always 1 point, no matter the ladder state. If the defending team fifas the die back onto the table, nothing happens and the die is dead.
Switch sides when the total score between the two teams is equal to 11.
A team must kill when the opposing team gets 6 points. Game cannot resume unless the drinks are finished. Each team must kill when the game is over, regardless of winning team. Spilling more than 30% of drink will result in a refill.
Each team gets one video replay challenge per game. A challenge can be requested when teams disagree and the ref/statter rules against your team. If the challenge is successful, you will be allowed to request another one.
If the die lands on the line, the toss will be counted as short. It will be self regulated by the players, however, in the case where it cannot be agreed upon, the ref/statter will break the tie.
Height is a gentleman's rule. If the defending team calls height before the die hits the table, the call should be respected. In the event of disagreement, tie goes to the statter. If statter has no opinion, re-toss. Height is not reviewable by replay.
We play first to 11, with the exception of win by 2.
The team to first reach 11 will win, however, the final score must be won by 2. This allows for match play and scores to go over 11.
In the event you self sink, the defensive team must run a naked lap. In the event of losing 11-0, the losing team must run a naked lap. Refusal of nudie is 2 shotguns per teammate (4 shotguns total).
There will be NO DIE BACK in the official tournament.
There will be NO REDEMPTION DIE in the official tournament.
Only 1 bobble is allowed per player, per toss. Meaning, you are only allowed to bump the die once and make an attempt at a catch. You may bobble it to your teammate and your teammate may then bobble, but on the next attempt it must be a catch. Anything else will result in a drop.
Die is a contact sport. Full contact is allowed behind the cup line. If there is contact past the cup line (body extends past the near edge of the cup) it will result in no point for the offense. Pick is challengeable by replay.
We play ladders. You must increment the number of volleys based on the number of fifa points you have. Example: If you have 1 fifa point you must have 2 volleys before catching the die
Happy hucking :)
